* GS Index = player's GS Index
* Tee difficulty = (GS Slope ÷ 113). GS Slope is listed for each tee of a course.
* Scratch par = GS Rating. GS Rating is listed for each tee of a course.
* Par = Par of the tee. Par is listed for each tee of a course.
New rules (implemented in 2020) are used.
Handicap = GSIndex X (Tee difficulty)

Calculate "Handicap" to decimal places (recommended).
Example:
Assume GSIndex = 8.6, Tee difficulty = 1.106, Scratch par = 71.9, Par = 72, Percent Allowance = 80%

Option checked, "Handicap" is calculated to a decimal number, then calculation of "Tournament handicap" is done.
Handicap = 8.6 X (1.106) + (71.9 - 72)
Handicap = 9.41
Tournament handicap = 9.41 X .80
Tournament handicap = 8
Option NOT checked, "Handicap" is calculated to a whole number, then calculation of "Tournament handicap" is done.
Handicap = 8.6 X (1.106) + (71.9 - 72)
Handicap = 9
Tournament handicap = 9 X .80
